It’s OK to turn down business

You can say No to customers.⁣

You can turn customers down. ⁣

This is not a bad thing. A business and a customer are not always meant to work together.⁣

Here is the thing. There are many different kinds of customers and you may want to work with someone but the job isn’t right for you. It may be difficult to turn this job done. But, if it isn’t a good fit then turn it down. It is in the best interest of both you and the customer to do so.⁣

Now, there are jobs that you really don’t want to do for many reasons. If you have a bad feeling that the job is not going to be worth it then turn it down. ⁣

I know it is hard to turn down business but you will get used to it. We always qualify our jobs because we want to make sure we can do the job that customer expects.⁣

Give yourself permission to turn down work without feeling bad.
